FERRY LAW ANNOUNCES SILENT PEACE WALK FOR INTERNATIONAL PEACE DAY

In honor of the International Day of Peace, Ferry Law is sponsoring a silent Peace Walk in Walnut Hill Park, New Britain on Sunday, September 20, 2026. Everyone is invited to participate in this silent walk through the park. Participants should meet in front of the Ferry Law Office at 77 Lexington Street, New Britain at 2 p.m.

Kevin Ferry, owner of Ferry Law, feels that peace is greatly needed now more than ever in light of recent events across the globe. He decided to sponsor the silent peace walk as an act of solidarity for the monks who walked in peace from Texas to Washington D.C. in the past year. Silence is seen as a way to raise vibrations for peace. The event is open to one and all. Please feel free to connect at the number and email below for more information.

Walking Together for Peace

At a time when conflict, division, and uncertainty continue to affect communities around the world, we believe there is value in coming together locally with a simple message: peace matters.

The idea for the event was also inspired by Buddhist monks who undertook a peace walk from Texas to Washington, D.C., demonstrating the power of a peaceful journey to bring people together around a shared purpose.

During the New Britain walk, participants are asked to remain silent. The silence is intentional, offering an opportunity to reflect on peace, unity, compassion, and what each of us can do to bring those values into our own communities.

“Peace can sometimes feel like something that is beyond our individual control, especially when we look at what is happening around the world,” said Attorney Kevin Ferry, founder of Ferry Law. “This walk is a simple way for us to come together as neighbors, reflect, and show that peace and unity still matter.”
